About our Forest School

Here, children are given the freedom to be curious, creative and completely themselves. They can climb, dig, build, balance, make, imagine, explore and get gloriously muddy, all while learning through real outdoor experiences. No two sessions are ever quite the same. One week children might be hunting for minibeasts, building dens or mixing up muddy creations. Another week they might be making nature crafts, playing woodland games, using natural materials, listening to birdsong or following their own little adventure through the trees.

Our regular forest school sessions at Bell Heath include Little Explorers for children aged 0 to 5 years, Home Education Forest School, After School Club, and Forest School Club for children aged 8 and over. Each session is warm, welcoming and child-led, with gentle support from experienced leaders who understand the value of giving children time, space and freedom outdoors.
