About our Forest School
At our Bell Heath site, children are free to explore, climb, dig, build, imagine and discover. Some may head straight for the mud kitchen. Others might search for minibeasts, build dens, create with leaves and sticks, play games, make new friends or simply enjoy following their own little adventure outdoors. Our regular sessions at Bell Heath include Little Explorers for children aged 0 to 5 years, Home Education Forest School, After School Club, and Forest School Club for children aged 8 and over. Each session is warm, relaxed and child-led, with gentle encouragement and plenty of space for children to grow in confidence, independence and imagination.
For families in Halesowen, Down in the Forest offers something calm, joyful and full of childhood magic. It is a place where children can get wonderfully muddy, feel at home outdoors and enjoy the freedom of learning through nature. We also run our Forest School Holiday Club from our Alvechurch site during the school holidays. Come and join us down in the forest, just a short drive from Halesowen.
